No player can be kept more than three consecutive years. Even if you did not have them yourself, they must enter the draft. Slots are assigned as they are kept and this is tracked. You will see this on your roster labeled as “acquired.” If it says “K3” then you cannot keep them this year. A dropped player does not reset this. Only being drafted does.
